Waited for AndyW to arrive whilst the wind was blowiong a hoolie outside with gusts to 42 knots.

Once he arrived I headed over to the beach with my 4m and 4,5m sails and my Noash Hybrid Freewave 86. Wnet out with the 4m, which was just right for a few runs. Straight out the back and into the thick of things. Mast high waves (and more), loads of wind and things were pretty hectic. The wind then eased off a little so I went in to see Andy who was just about ready to get on the water.

Went back out and once again there was just the right amount of wind for a nice blast out the back. The wind then eased a little and I had trouble getting going but was OK in the gusts.

The wind gradually swung around becoming more northerly and remained a little up and down, At times the 4m was more then enough at others it wasn't enough. Great when it was just right though.

Lots of big jumps and lots of blasting around in amongst some pretty chunky waves.
